Types of Training & Facilitation Sarah Offers

Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice

  • Helping clinicians and educators shift from traditional deficit-based models to strengths-based, neuroaffirming approaches.

  • Practical strategies for goal-setting, therapy planning, and supporting self-advocacy.

  • Addressing concerns like “It’s not fair on the others” or “They need to learn social skills” in a way that is both evidence-based and actionable.

Parent Coaching & Communication Strategies

  • Supporting allied health professionals in effective parent coaching, particularly in early intervention and neurodivergent family dynamics.

  • Helping professionals feel confident in having difficult conversations—e.g., when a parent is fixated on eye contact goals, or when they’re struggling with acceptance.

Facilitation That Sticks

  • Drawing on her background in performing—including monthly improv shows—Sarah creates dynamic, engaging learning spaces that adapt to the needs of the group.

  • Using interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and reflective discussions to ensure deep learning and long-term retention.

Systems Thinking & Capacity Building

  • Working with organisations to embed neuroaffirming practices at a systems level—so that inclusion isn’t just a buzzword but a meaningful, embedded change.

  • Helping teams navigate NDIS complexities, implement collaborative service models, and reduce the overwhelm of adapting to neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Customised Workshops & Training

  • Sarah offers tailored training for organisations, schools, and clinical teams, ensuring content is relevant, evidence-informed, and practical.

  • Past workshops have covered topics like:

    • Reflective Practice

    • Difficult Conversations

Sarah’s approach ensures that every session is engaging, interactive, and grounded in real-world practice. She is committed to bridging the gap between research and practice—so that professionals don’t just learn new ideas, but feel confident applying them.
